Parties Powered by the North Sea

The ultimate birthday adventure…

Throwing a birthday party shouldn't be a chore, and at CBK Adventures, we think the best way to celebrate is by making a massive splash! There’s nothing like a dose of Vitamin Sea to get the party started, giving kids the freedom to explore, get soaked, and go wild with their best mates.

We’ve traded the traditional party bags and indoor play pits for high-energy coastal adventures. Whether they’re splashing into the water for the first time or racing their best friends across the bay, we provide a safe, thrilling environment where they can discover new skills and, most importantly, have the time of their lives.

We love seeing the birthday star find their confidence on a paddleboard, or watching a group of friends collapse into giggles as they find their rhythm in a kayak. It’s not just a birthday party; it’s a milestone memory that sticks long after the wetsuits have dried and the sand has been washed out of their hair.

A party like no other!

Gear Up & Go

Arrive at our Cullercoats base for check-in. We’ll get everyone kitted out in professional-grade wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets before working together to get our craft down to the shoreline.

The Main Event

Your 90-minute session kicks off with a high-energy warm-up, followed by a custom mix of skills and games tailored to the group's age and ability. Whether you choose Kayaking, Paddleboarding, our legendary XL SUP or coasteering, we guarantee a party you won’t forget!

The Aprés-Sea

We’ll head back to base with salty smiles to get changed and warmed up. As a special birthday bonus, the guest of honour will be gifted a £10 voucher to spend on activities!

The "Weather-Proof" Guarantee

If conditions shift, we pivot to exciting alternatives like bodyboarding, rock pooling, pier jumps, snorkeling, or rescue skills. This flexibility means you can book with confidence, knowing we have a plan for every forecast.

Where are we located?

Cullercoats Bay

Nestled between the bustling hubs of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, Cullercoats Bay is a hidden gem on the North East coast. This small bay provides a natural sanctuary, making it one of the safest and most picturesque spots for watersports in the region. Its unique geography often offers sheltered waters even when the North Sea is lively, providing the perfect location for young adventurers.

  • Sometimes the weather will not play ball and we will be required to amend the format of a session. Being located on the North East coast, this is something we are well practised in and should this be deemed necessary, we will always err on the side of caution and consider all aspects of planning to ensure your group get the most out of their time with us whilst maintaining our usual high levels of safety. We have a number of contingency plans in place and will, of course, keep you informed every step of the way.

We will always do our best to get your group out on the water safely and appreciate there is nothing more frustrating than a last minute cancellation or re-scheduling when organising a large group.

While we’re experts at adapting sessions to suit the British weather, safety always comes first. If the conditions mean we can’t get your group on the water safely, we’ll reschedule or arrange a credit note. Our team will be on hand to help you find the best alternative date so the kids don't miss out on the fun.

  • We believe the water should be for everyone. We strive to make our adventure days as inclusive as possible. While the natural environment of the beach can sometimes be a challenge, we are proud to partner with Beach Access North East to provide specialised beach-friendly wheelchairs. We can also adapt sessions and instructor-to-student ratios to suit various physical or sensory needs.
